Luke Swanson

Luke enjoyed a 20-year executive career in global companies (Pearson plc, Diageo plc) in communications, strategy and business transformation. He was a member of Pearson’s executive committee for 12 years as corporate affairs director and chief transformation officer and a trusted adviser to successive chairmen and chief executives.

He is an experienced non-executive director (The Economist Group, Interactive Data Corporation, Business Day & Financial Mail) and also has extensive experience in the not-for profit sector (at Business in the Community and The Prince's Trust and as chief executive of Chance to Shine, one of the UK’s leading sport-for-development charities).

He is now an independent advisor on strategy and communications, with a particular focus on organisational purpose, culture and values. He is an enthusiastic player of multiple sports and has coached in participation, club and performance environments.
